Redefining Values Within Business...

ANTZ: Leaders in Social Valu Innovation

The days of Measuring business success through financial metrics alone are over.

Since 2011 our member and clients have aligned commercial and social goals within their strategies, their business has grown and they have also contributed to reducing social costs locally, and on route gained new talent for their business so there’s not really an argument in redefining values?

Or is there? Click here for the full article.

CSR is Dead, charity is no longer a tick box, businesses want relationships with charities to deliver their values, it’s now being imbedded into business, and it’s not going away in fact its growing. Companies across the UK, Europe and Globally are redefining their values. Companies want to work with Local Authorities not because of Social Value Act 2012, but because they see real value in being responsible socially, commercially and environmentally.

Inclusive values within companies creates commercial growth, attracts the right employee’s, drives wellbeing in work and outside within our communities. But some companies see it as someone else’s job and when they deliver CSR it’s a good marketing opportunity, some even start a new trust fund, or are going back to philanthropic giving.

Times are changing! Are you ready?

Redefining value is the future for all and we believe that by 2020 it will to impact your companies if you haven’t seen it already. Supply chain value will change to whether you win a contract or not and how people and other organisations buy from you. Will they pay more money probably not, but your company will be at the top of this list for sure.

What ANTZ Members Say

ANTZ Member: Inbusiness English

"We have already begun working with ANTZ member Europia by providing them with English courses and we're starting work with another ANTZ member, Virtual Training Centre Ltd.

We all get on like a house on fire and are looking forward to producing eLearning courses for them!"

ANTZ Member: Chris Foster Photography

"Through my very first networking event with ANTZ, I made an immediate connection with my local Worsley Park Marriot Hotel. Our shared values made it somewhat easier to strike up conversation which has led into an ongoing relationship. I have supplied the Marriot with my photography services and received great feedback at the same time as raising my profile with such a well respected brand."

Charity Update

We have seen a decline in foundations and trusts which can look like bad news for charities, but the good news is business want to work closer with you locally to build relationships and listen to local needs and contribute. It’s just different and that’s a huge learning curve for all, so be included in the right network and define your offer so that companies can work with you.

ANTZ offer free training on tomorrow's world of social value for charities, for more information email The next training session is scheduled for Thursday, 19th October 2017 from 12pm - 4pm. Click here to book your place now.

Unlocking the Next Economy is about creating access to the physical assets of historical organisations to support local economic change. Stir To Action’s year-long pilot will explore how these physical assets can be an important part of Community Economic Development (CED), and how unused & underused churches could specifically be a part of this process.

Advice & Guidance

All companies need to take an integrated approach, a better understanding of how to incorporate and account for their natural and social capital.

We know they need support and our services and network enable companies to imbed this into their DNA.

Does glossy reporting need to be replaced with social and commercial accounting. We predict it will be by 2025, with real stories from people through social media.

Alan Lingard

Alan Lingard said "ANTZ exists to bring people together. Businesses, charities, and communities are individual entities and are also made up of individuals. ANTZ recognises this and welcomes everyone as a unique set of talents and needs."

On Wednesday 19th July, 2017, the Guinness World Record books were updated on the open waters out of Torquay Harbour, by a man who was born blind.

Despite his disability, this man had never let go of a dream to be a racing driver, and having achieved 8 World Records on land, sea and sky already, this man now wanted achieve the 'impossible' dream of piloting a powerboat at 100mph.

That man is 'Superhuman' Mike Newman.

Supported by friends, family and ambassadors for his own charity, Speed Of Sight, Mike raced all the way into the record books at a breathtaking 105 mph.

These World Records act as a beacon of light for anyone regardless of ability, that you should chase your dreams - through land, sea or sky!

Mike Newman co-founded the charity, Speed Of Sight, which in his own image, provides life enhancing driving experiences for any blind or otherwise disabled participants across the UK. A popular 'predict the mph' sweepstake organised by the charity helped to kick start the fundraising proceedings on what ended up being a fast paced, emotional and record breaking day for Mike and the Speed Of Sight charity.

For more information about Speed Of Sight, please visit

"Antz has been integral to the growth and development of Speed Of Sight. The charity would struggle even more without their continued support with providing office space and introductions to new sponsors and / or supporters."
